Dignitas International
LIVING RESULTS.
Dignitas International dramatically increases access to effective HIV/AIDS-related prevention, treatment, care and support in resource-limited settings through developing and sharing community-based solutions. Dignitas was founded and is led by Dr. James Orbinski and James Fraser, both formerly of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF/Doctors Without Borders). Dr. Orbinski accepted the 1999 Nobel Peace Prize as International President of MSF. Learn more about our current work in Malawi.
Dignitas works with existing government, community and societal structures in the Zomba district of Malawi. Each month, hundreds of children and adults are gaining access to essential care and to prevention education that helps to raise awareness and reduce stigma.
