Dignitas International is now incorporated in the United States and is a registered 501(c)(3) organization (Federal Tax ID 26-0387288).

Dignitas International USA, Inc. will help to provide assistance to children, youth and families affected by HIV/AIDS in developing nations by:

• furnishing support for medical treatment provided by others in community-based care programs;
• raising awareness to combat the devastation caused by HIV/AIDS, and disseminating new knowledge generated through intervention research focused on community-based care;
• responding to other serious diseases, especially those that can be effectively addressed by a community-based care model;
• furnishing support for a full range of critical and routine medical testing, treatment and care provided by others in developing nations through community-based care programs; and
• supporting a broad range of charitable activities in developing nations, including the relief of poverty (through, for example, microfinance activities), and the elimination of prejudice and discrimination (particularly in relation to gender, sexual preference and HIV-positive status) within a community-based care approach.
